Every once in a while, I post something from Wingnutville to demonstrate their disinformation. If only it were this simple.

Again - here Asay goes, rewriting history and completely reinterpreting why Bush blew into Iraq. "Disarming Saddam of WMDs" has truly been buried and forgotten by Bush's pals in the media.
Secondly, you don't "reach out to help the victims of Saddami" by destroying their capital city with a mission called "Shock and Awe" and a continuing campaign which has killed tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of Iraqis who did nothing more than be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Thirdly, enough of the tired UN-bashing bullcrap. Our original "reaching out" WAS stingy. It was embarrassing. It was less than what Washington could find in its sofa cushions. It was far less than what we spend in mere moments in Iraq. Leave the UN alone already. When they're right, they're right - and they were completely right in their criticism of the stinginess of rich countries (they didn't even single out the United States, but hey - we have this ego thing...).
The only thing missing from this cartoon is French-bashing. You're slipping, Chuck.
Speaking of wingnut cartoons, a memo to the creators of Mallard Fillmore and Prickly City: Making cute New Year's resolutions for Democrats isn't terribly original (both strips did it over the past couple of weeks), nor is it terribly funny. At least the way you guys are executing it. Instead of telling us what we should do, let me turn the tables on you: Try being entertaining. It makes it so much better for the reader.
Its clear to me that conservatives are only capable of one level of thinking and analysis. They can't go deeper than what they think is obvious. It's a stupidity thing.
Alternate interpretation: they don't want to dig deep. Why should they when the ignorant masses are so easy to control with bias and outright lies?
Didn't Montgomery Burns say something to the affect of "a healthy mix of the wealthy and the ignorant"? That is how I think of Republicans.

Oh they pick something to death - they will keep at the UN until America does not want it. Same with Social Security. I am so sick of these pricks.

On second thought, maybe it was Smithers who said that...
