So if Fox viewers have the tea baggers pegged, why would we give two doo doos about them? When Fred Phelps hate group came to our little city here in upstate NY, because we had the 1st openly gay mayor, everybody put on their "stop hate" buttons and bumper stickers, the appointed day arrived and then poof--nothing came of it. Me, I wanted to rip him a new asshole, but I'm too old and feeble and besides there were more members of various law enforcement agencies present (thanks to funding from homeland security) than at a Phish concert. I think about nine people from Phelps group showed up. (he wasn't one of them). Now I go back to February 15, 2003 where I showed up with close to a million people to protest the start of an invasion and, poof nothing came of it. What's my point? Poof rules!

Very funny, but what about poll choice #2 - "Exposing Democrats' socialist agenda"? Would any of these right-wing knuckle-draggers even recognize a 'socialist agenda' if they saw one?

Socialist agenda? WTHF are we talking about here? Progressive policies were in place as I grew up, as I volunteered for the USMC and Viet Nam and as I finally realized how I had fucked up and what was available for my three children. I count Lincoln, Teddy, Taft and Nixon from the Republicans as Progressives and I count FDR, Johnson and maybe Carter as Progressives. Reagan stole our country. He started it and thirty years of theft has left this country in the same hands as in the McKinley presidency. We have the abolition of slavery, voting rights, a safety net for the elderly, workers rights, housing rights, workers rights (unions), women's rights, environmental protections, workers protections, pre-school education for the disadvantaged, food for the hungry, subsidized housing for the poor. Now they want to call it a socialist agenda? Fuck them. I want it all back and I want it paid for on the back of the military, congressional, industrial complex. I want an army that is prepared to deal with very little in the terms of war. Cut that fucking pentagon budget down to 100 billion and there's your "Democratic Socialist agenda".
