He's probably correct. Obama is so busy pissing on his base in order to curry favor with the right wing (which hasn't worked one iota, I might add) that I can't imagine anyone will vote for him. He's already a lame duck. Totally misguided and inept politicking from someone represented as being very sharp and even another Lincoln. Instead, his mania for bipartisanship has just turned him into George Bush III. There are lots of things going into that calculus, but at the top has to be putting GOP enabler Rahm Emanuel in charge of things. Might as well have given the job to Liz Cheney.
Here's a thought, Barack: compromise involves BOTH sides giving in on things. What you're doing is appeasement. Ask Neville Chamberlain how that worked out.
